For the Love of Billy Dove

Today I was honoured to hold a stall at a dear friends charity fun day, to help raise money in the battle against knife crime, and to help raise money for their family member who was tragically lost to this awful crime to have a memorial erected in his name, - Billy Dove.

We were all there to remember him, and support his family, who did a terrific job organising the day. Heart radio hosted the day and many celebrities came along to help raise money. The sun shone all day... it was a day to remember, my heart goes out to all Billy's family and friends who miss him everyday. Thank you for asking me to be part of the special day and have a stall.

Moving Day!

Today was moving day at the Swan Antiques Center! Lots of hard graft this morning paid off as I am now officially moved into the Heron Room on the first floor!

I must say it is kind of bitter sweet because as much as I am excited to be in my new "home" in the shop I am mourning the loss of my cosy corner in the Swift Room. Talking to a fellow dealer today she agreed with me that it's sad to leave a well worked space as you leave your 'imprint' behind. I think that is true....but I am hoping I will soon bring the good vibes to my new room and have lots of happy times (and sales!) there!
